Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) has been established by the Government of Punjab on the basis of Public Private Partnership to achieve orderly, planned and rapid industrialization of Pakistan. FIEDMC is led by a board of 21 directors, with Mian Muhammad Latif ex Chenab Group as its Chairman and
Mr. Musadaq Zulqarnain as CEO. Other directors include prominent industrialists of Faisalabad and five secretaries of the Govt. of Punjab. The operations of the company are carried out under the supervision of its Chief Operating Officer Brig. Ahmad Riza Siddiqi ( Retd), ably assisted by a team of highly skilled professionals.
FIEDMC has been solely financed by the Govt. of Punjab
to meet the new challenges of WTO regime. Presently FIEDMC has undertaken two project of industrial estate development.
Value Addition City (VAC)
First project namely
VALUE ADDITION CITY (VAC)is fully developed and functional industrial estate. It caters for the needs of small and medium entrepreneurs in value addition
industries. Many industrial units have already started construction work in VAC.
VAC is spread over an area of 215 acres of land located along Faisalabad-Lahore Highway at 15 minutes drive
from Faisalabad city.

M-3 Industrial City (M3 IC)
The largest industrial estate project of the country, M-3 Industrial City, is spread over an area of 4500 acres and is located near Sahianwala Interchange along Motorway M-3 South. It is 1½ hour drive from Lahore and about 2½ hours from Rawalpindi-Islamabad. An estimated fifteen billion rupees development work is already in progress with the construction of 13 km long 250 feet wide main arterial
road.
Besides Textile, this estate includes other sectors
like Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Engineering & Construction, Information Technology, Food Processing, Miscellaneous, etc. It also has a dedicated zone for Chinese Investors
and other foreign entrepreneurs. The project is formally
being launched very soon.
M-3IC will cater for the needs of large and medium scale industrial units with the smallest size of plot as 5 acres. However, one can acquire as much as land desired depending upon requirements of a particular industry.
All modern facilities and a comprehensive infrastructure
will be provided in this state of art industrial estate. It
will comply with all the requirements of WTO and ISO regimes. Basic amenities like Electricity, Water, Natural Gas, Telecom Infrastructure, Combined Effluent Treatment Plants, Hospitals, Commercial Areas, Residential
